Testimonials
"It was evident from the moment that I met Lance that he was the person who I wanted to do our bear family stump carvings. He gave me honest answers in 'plain talk' and detailed the process of how he works and what we could expect. He showed up punctually each day on site and worked with very little breaks during the week-long process. He was easy to talk to during the project and welcomed all of our suggestions/ideas/feedback. From this he was able to create a 'masterpiece' in our backyard for our family which we will be able to cherish for many years, if not generations, to come. He also instructed us how to care for our carvings and even detailed what type of varnish to use to ensure their longevity. I highly recommend you meet and work with Lance for your next wood carving, since it's hard these days to find such an individual who possesses both a strong work ethic combined with a God given talent; you can tell that he loves what he does. I'm glad he found his calling in life so that we can be blessed to admire his marvelous creations."
With sincere gratitude,

Hello Lance, I was on your web page today and looked under human figures and there was my hard hat diver you created for me. As you know I have always wanted a full MK V diver carving but always figured the job just had too much detail for a chain saw. So you could imagine my surprise when my wife contracted you to create my birthday present. The carving sits at the entrance to my driveway and I could never imagine the fantastic detail you created. I have been a diver as a profession for over 24 years and have dove the MK V. I could not have been anymore pleased with your creation. To date the only problem I have had is I have not been able to persuade my wife to bring the carving into the house, yet. I wanted to thank you and pass on to any future customers that if you think your project cannot be created by a chain saw, talk to Lance first. You will not be disappointed with his artistic talent. Good luck Lance. Ray

Dear Lance,
I just had to write you and tell you how elated I am to have acquired one of your masterpieces. I have been looking for an Eagle for several months now and came across the one I got today. Let me tell you a little bit about the meaning behind the Eagle for me.
My Son Jeff, died a year ago, in a tragic night without hope he succumbed to an overdose of drugs and alcohol. I found him and tried to revive him to no avail and I lost my beloved Jeff that night. The most comforting part of this tragedy was that my son had become a christian 3 weeks prior to his
passing and I have the comfort of knowing he is with our Savior in Heaven. This knowledge has kept me going many a night. We had a beautiful service for him after his passing on January 16th 2004. After the service we went to a restaurant called the Cliff house for the wake that followed. As we pulled up at the restaurant people were standing in awe as they looked across the street at an old tree, half dead, on the other side. In this tree was a beautiful bald Eagle who was sitting as if watching and looking over us all. As we watched. a crow flew down to try to stir the Eagle and cause him to fly away, but the Eagle remained and soon the crow flew away. He remained in that tree for a very long time and became a vision for me with so much significance. So you see, when I came across your Eagle, the one who is looking towards the heavens, wow! it just struck me. His name is Spirit, and he is on the deck in the backyard. I shall look at him everyday and know that he is looking to my Son and blessing me with his presence.
You are a very talented artist, I bought one of your bears for a dear friend and she cried! It was an amazing day for all. Thank you Lance, and just know this woman is cherishing your Eagle and your amazing gift is a blessing for many. God Bless you and yours.
Sincerely,

Hi Lance - I had a chance to take the Cocker Spaniel carving out of the box
when I went home at lunch today and take a really close look at
it.....WOW!!!!!....IT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND SO LIFELIKE, and it
brought tears to my eyes. It is the exact same size as my live Cocker
Spaniel that I have at home - when he saw it he seemed jealous! I am so
glad we decided to leave the wood natural too. I am so pleased with it and
I know everyone who sees it will be also. I hope you took a photo of it
after you completed it. We will be taking some photos of it at the event
next Saturday, as I would like to have a photo of it too. I will send you a
photograph as well.
God has indeed gifted you with an incredible artistic talent and the ability
to create these fantastic carvings from wood. Thank you again, and may God
continue to bless you and your family. By the way, do you have a business
card or two that you could possibly send to me, as I would like to put your
business card with the carving at the Cocker Spaniel event, so that in case
there are people in attendance who may wish to have a carving done by you,
they will know how and where to contact you.
Kind regards,

He is absolutely incredible and already is occupying a very important spot in my living room!!!! You are a wonderful artist - and you did an incredible job of carving this special bear for us. "I needed a carving of a coyote for my cabin in California. I found Lancesawlot on the web and emailed him and I attached a sketch of the pose I was looking for. Lance emailed back with a price and shortly thereafter sent the finished piece via UPS. My wife and I are totally delighted with the carving and at this point we have decided to keep it in the house (not in the planned outside location!) as it is so beautiful. The workmanship is magnificent and we are totally satisfied. Thanks Lance."
